Rachel and Thomas were another of 2011’s referral clients. Coming to be thanks to Jess and Bob, I’m always really pleased to work for folks who already know how it all works. It is, in part, a validation to what you do. The fact that someone sees your wedding photography and not only likes it but wants it for themselves is a great reward. Rachel and Thomas (or Tom as I called him) were married at Pioneer Place, a Jehovah’s Witness venue. I’m kind of a religious culture junkie. I may spend my time at a Church of England church but I’m fascinated by all types of religions. The traditions, the similarities and the differences. Tom’s father led the ceremony and this gave it a special feel. Personal and uplifting and exceedingly well written and delivered. Something that they will always remember. Afterwards we moved on to Bromley to The Warren, a Metropolitan Police social venue. Its not what you think. A classic building with bags of character. It doesn’t really feel like London (and that is a good thing .. at least to me it is). Family and friends helped to make this a warm event and by the end it was madness on the dancefloor. Thanks for having me along!
