Chloe and Michael – Tithe Barn Wedding in April

The ‘North’ heads south! There was a point of the day when I really thought to myself that I had been transported to Lancashire. This was the wedding of Chloe and Michael (Mike) at the glorious Tithe Barn in Hampshire. Yes, HAMPSHIRE. Both Chloe and Mike are from Lancashire and moved south a few years ago. Recognising the challenges of organising a wedding 5 hours away they decided to bring the north south. I’m glad they did. The barn and the surrounding green spaces are starting to flourish with the warmer sun and long evenings. So it was a perfect wedding location for a vibrant and happy couple. I started with the girls (and there were LOTS of them) at The Old Thorns in Liphook. The Hampshire Penthouse is a perfect location for a group this size and only about 15 minutes drive to the barn. The Barn was as outstanding as ever and perfectly accented by the uplighters provided by DJ Ashley Riggs. A heart warming ceremony gave way to some unique wedding ideas at the Barn. A timeplan painted on a wooden pallet was a great accent. I particularly loved the ‘sign the barrell’ guest book. Chloe’s Dad will varnish it and it will be a permanent and useful reminder of everyone who attended. The day flowed with so much ease. Touching speeches with some excellent comedy moments led us into a brilliant evening with a superb live band. A true joy to be a part of.
