Dressed to kill...literally. Of course I'm talking about Gary, the groom. OK...kill is probably a strong term but he was quite dashing in it his Army formal. Naomi...well, she was dressed to kill in a totally different way. A sophisticated elegance with a personality you couldn't help but love. A damn fine combination. We started in Oxshott with Naomi at her parent's house. I was concerned that with a summer day of sunshine and driving towards Hindhead we might be heading straight for the abyss. Fortunately I was being over dramatic (altough Tom Tom Live was agreeing with me for an hour or so before we left). Darren spent the morning with the guys. It seems even men in proper military formal gear can still get ready in minutes flat. I don't think he had to do it blindfolded though. It all came together at the village church in Grayshott, very close to where my wife and I had our first flat. Soon we were off to Gary's family estate on the edge Haslemere. An amazing marquee was laid out on the back lawn and it was as if this was a full time wedding venue. Wonderful friends and family along with a welcoming atmosphere made for a tremendous summer wedding day.
