Steeped in history, Gill and Simon decided on holding their wedding ceremony at the wonderful Sandy's Row Synagogue near Spitalfields in London. It was a chance for me to see some familiar faces after photographing the wedding of Gill's daughter Claire a few years previous. The ceremony was late…a 6:30pm start. It certainly has its challenges as well as its rewards. For me the highlight came in the transition from ceremony to reception. A clarinetist led everyone from Sandy's Row the 5 minutes to the Beavis Marks Restaurant. A wonderful day (or night) indeed.
