The story of a banker and his wife. No, its not Mary Poppins, but in fact Anthea and Miles. Anthea is a Kiwi (or a New Zealander if you're down with the kids). Running press/publicity and all that jazz for the Bank of New Zealand (like you, I didn't know it exists either). He's a Brit and more importantly, an economist. Perhaps not sharing an office with Merv he frequents the halls of The Bank of England (now that one I did know). So carrying through with the Mary Poppins analogy, she provides the spoonfull of sugar that helps his medicine go down. I guess that makes me Dick Van Dyke. Anthea and Miles were married in the quaint (blink and you will certainly miss it...not because its small, but because its well hidden) Bighton church. A legacy exists there in Miles family to the point that we had two specal formals. One of all those who married there -- 3. And another with everyone who was Christened there -- a bunch! FWIW, the Vicar is a hoot. Back to Avington for drinks and Kiwi style speeches. That being in between courses and the Father of the Groom as well as the Maid of Honour get a turn of the screw. Cap it off with a choregraphed dance routine and you're off! Happy times.
