When you get the email that says 'we are getting married in Tel Aviv and wondered if you travel that far?' you first think...scam. Then your mind wanders a bit to somewhere left of 'yeah, right' before finally landing on 'interesting if it was real'. In this case it was totally real. Turns out Emma and Effi are friends of Lucille and Richard, a wedding at nearby Clandon Park. Then again, compared to Old Jaffa anything is nearby. In the end there were no dodgy scam artists at the end of this email it was, in fact, all geniune. Initially I was wowed by the idea. Then a little scared to be honest. But ultimately once you're there and in the thick of it, its like any other wedding. Yes, its hot, yes there were 2 other photographers and 2 videographers, yes it was in Israel. But you just have to put it all to one side and get on with it. This was my first destination wedding. Most folks hop on over to France or Spain. Never one to follow a crowd I jet off to the Middle East. I hope you like this selection slideshow. Many thanks to Emma and Effi for having me along to a memorable day.
