Just off the beaten path of the A4 lies a sanctuary of wedding goodness. Sometimes hotels can lack a certain 'something' that makes them seem a bit souless. The Elcot Park Hotel near Newbury is NOT one of them. Whilst it has many modern comforts it also boasts a character driven manor house and views over the Berkshire hills. I can see why Emily and James selected it for their wedding. These two were no stranger to me. They were guests at Claire and Michael's wedding at Cain Manor in 2010. Working for referrals is always a treat. The creative freedom to get on with what you want to do in the comfort of knowing that the Bride and Groom trust you. A nice situation to be in. They met via the internet before the days that Facebook was a household name. There's a certain charm and dare I say it, a nostalgic essense about. How can something relative new already be nostalgic. My how things move fast. The night was capped off with a superb ShootBooth photobooth hosted by me. 1 hour of hijinx an tomfoollery. A good time was had by all!
