Archive for Hampton Court Palace
Emilie and James (J, Jamie, Dude) .. now there’s a wedding I won’t forget. I worked in Hampton Court Palace and I still have my head. That’s memorable…the Bride was B-U-tiful…that’s memorble too. And its also the day that England took 8 wickets in the time it took to sign the register and start the Wedding Breakfast…not that I was noticing or anything. Sometimes a venue just plays to your strengths and Hampton Court Palace is one of them. Great contrasts of light, always a crowd and wonderful outside spaces. I now pray to the wedding gods to get the chance to go back!
Quite ironic…I don’t think I ever saw her NOT smile!
Emilie’s flip phone had a unique wallpaper
Yeah..I got a shoe shot here too…but flowers in a loo roll takes the cake!
Strange bridal ritual? No. Lesson in the horrors of white balance? Sorta. Emilie gurgling mouthwash? Spot on!
I only kept this in the blog…
So that I could put this one in (just so nobody accused me of being a beret wearing arty)
My ‘Just One’
I’m no expert but I reckon Emilie’s Dad was quite pleased his first look

Sorry..not much in the Church…any complaints directly to the Vicar (grrrrrr)
Off to the guillotine?
Lunch is served (the folks at HCP will get it)
I don’t who that dude is but he’s packin’ photo heat
Reinsert tongue, close mouth
I don’t get that same feeling as above…but then he’s probably pretty happy with that
Write your own story…just start with the hands far right!
All table plans should be reflectors
You’ll notice the quality of light change throughout the speeches…this is because they were between each course and it was nearly dark by the last one
Judge of all and knows the secrets of your childhood…therefore prepare for a butt whippin’. James’ brother Ben gets the house going. Strangely the robe was hired but the wig…well, the wig he already had. No explanation for this I’m afraid…at least not one he was willing to share.
Imagines what the wig is all about
I dance…with help from my little friends
Don’t feed the animals (strangely I think they’ll find that a compliment!)
Back by Popular Demand (or rather by Rob demand) — Darren!
Health and Safety dictates that I inform folks that rice at 2 feet is quite HARD!
Catching the side angle
Actually I like this far better than my own
So I say “hey D, did you see Dad editing his speech, I got it..have a look” to which Darren says “you mean THIS ONE!”
By the way…there are more images from the wedding on Facebook. To view them, visit the Shootinghip Facebook Fan Page.
Time for a ‘Just One’ — quick and all!
