Gemma and Peter (Dave) at Stoke Place
Posted by: | Comments“You are my wife now DAVE!”
That line may mean nothing to you. In fact, a few short months ago, it meant nothing to me either. Then Gemma and Pete met up with me for a pre-wedding shoot and enlightment began. I kind of just stood there, listened, admired and shortly put it out of my head. Then, bless her, Gemma sent me some YouTube links from ‘The League of Gentlemen’ and I entered their circle of comic trust. Pete (Dave) had told me he found the entire skit disturbing. After 2 minutes I was firmly in the Pete camp. The mind of a comic is truly twisted. I wonder what that says about Gemma?
We move on. Sunday. What a day. I started the day in 3 layers of clothes, two pairs of socks, a sleeping bag and in a tent. Yes, it was Beaver Camp and I had slept in a tent for the previous two days. Sounds classy I know. After that I couldn’t take on the world. But who ever expected such cold weather in May. On my way home my car told me it was 0 degrees C. Zero…as in freezing…zilch. Its May for goodness sakes. I digress. For Gemma and Dave (sorry…Pete) it was a bit disappointing that for the most part everyone stayed indoors. Stoke Place is a gorgeous venue with some stunning grounds. On the plus side, with everyone inside they could hear ‘tinkering’ on the baby grand piano of a number of guests as well as Pete himself. What a smoothie you are Peter!
For me the day simply flew by. I love days where everything flows so well. Thank you so much guys for letting me join you. I had a fantabulous time!
There will be, as almost always, more on my Facebook Business Page. Before that though you get to look at the images below. The link will be at the end.
The warning was issued!
I want one of those ‘caution : hot’ signs for my loo!
As a quick sign of reassurance Gemma lets me know there is a bit love for me from her. Bless!

Now…I guess you’re interested in seeing more. I sure hope so. Hopefully you’ll pop on over to my Facebook Business page to have a look at around 100 more images. Whilst you’re there don’t hesitate to ‘Like’ my page. I don’t bite. Then you can tag yourself if you so happen to stumble across an image with you in it. Besides…you have to go on over just to see the very last image. Its a corker and as a result I’ll probably have a bounty on my head!
Stoke Place Wedding Photography – Krissie and Ben
Posted by: | CommentsDear Krissie and Ben,
Aloha! OK, so that’s not what they say in Barbados but I’m guessing as you are there and I’m here you’re probably ready to laugh that one off. First off Krissie…would you believe its been cloudy all day today. Its just not fair! Regardless of those facts I hope your trip to sandy beaches has been a good one. I wanted to tell you both ‘thanks’ for having both Darren and I along to your most fantastic wedding. I wanted to recall some of things that stuck in my mind. Krissie’s messy room. Your words, not mine. I couldn’t bring myself to post the picture but I’ve got it. Dr Dresslove..aka the one in the rubber gloves. Pure class when adding a bracelet…divine idea. That choir…oh that choir. Someone call Piers Morgan NOW! The love bug…thankfully it was convertable otherwise who knows what you would have got up to. Those lovely details…cookies of Cookie, love hearts (yes, I have a photo of Darren chowing down…I told you he couldn’t resist) and the flip flops. I really hope it was a flip flop only affair on the dance floor. Speaking of chowing down…thanks for the cupcake. Phwoah…that was amazing. Krissie as the melting Bride…for sure never to see the light of day on the website but a good laugh. Ben…you never once asked a silly photo question. You let me down. :) Finally to the Bear. You’re not all that! I’ve got so many photos of you and photos never lie…all I can see is a tender side. Quiet…stoic…but never grizzly. Perhaps I’m lucky to never see the Bear when he’s not in hibernation. To family, friends and even George, thanks for having us.

“would you like to stroke my Cookie?”

Professional criminals are often prepared but not generally so stylish

Ahem!

I heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart you

I’m guessing Ben has a message

Why the tongue?

EXIT (see, most great shots in this HSE world are runined by ‘signs’. Not so here so I felt compelled to add to it)

No doubt the coordinator at Stoke Place will be falling over his/herself to get a hold of this one

Kimi….? Kimi? Geez. Just know that any further comments will be delivered in a mono-syballic tone whilst looking exceedingly disinterested in tandem with my straight brow gangster style baseball cap.
Ham-hock
Ladbrokes has them 7/2 for the next to tie the knot

Sorry…just went up to 14-1
Ben gets sincere whilst Krissie’s mum just dares me to read her poker face
Dear (sic)….headlights
How very American

And now a few from Darren – Naughty by name, naughty by nature
Some people let a little bit of wee out when they get excited (Apprentice 2009) – Ben deals with it in other ways.
Pretty simple list
Wiping a tear away or preparing to go into character as Capt Jack from Pirates of the Carribean – you make the call.
Kiss Kiss (bang bang…great film BTW)

Great idea D!
