Megan and Stephen – Tithe Barn Wedding
By rob_burressFinally. Finally the weather broke. And if the weather ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Some sunshine graced us all in this second weekend in May. Sadly the temperatures we more akin to early March. Despite this the day went off without the need for an umbrella which makes a refreshing change.
Speaking of all things unexpected I guess you have to mention Megan in a dress. By her own admission she feels more comfortable in wellies and a jumper (I’m assuming trousers fit in there somewhere). Despite her preference I reckon she pulled off the great white gown pretty damn well. Maybe for a laugh you guys can switch outfits for your first anniversary. Just a thought :) (I now know I’ve got Megan’s attention)
I should probably explain that the Best Man and Brother of the Bride had a bit of an accident a few weeks ago. He was only let out of hospital for the day to attend the wedding. Hence the exceedingly relaxed nature you’ll find Sam in on may occasions. He is a superstar for making the effort not only to come along, but get into his Best Man’s diggs for the day. Of course I reckon he gets his soft side from his Dad. You may also notice that mum makes a speech in lieu of Amos. Being an old softie he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Luckily Mum stepped in and despite Dad not actually writing a speech for her to read she took ‘wing it’ to an exceptionally fantastic level. I was very impressed!
Tithe Barn was lovely…as usual. Its great to see the grounds coming to life after a long winter.
