Rhinefield House Wedding Photographer – Belen and Damon
BySaturday brought me another day of intense sunshine. It was also kind enough to deliver another wonderful couple…this time in the form of Belen and Damon (that’s pronounced Blen…NOT Bell-in, like the Toastmaster insisted on calling her). They too took the approach of ‘do what you do best’ and I’m glad they did. I’ve worked in a lot of venues. Some are great but not so much for photography. Then there are the Rhinefield Houses of this world. A place that give me so much to play with and in a way the works right into my strengths. Some weeks I’m fighting the system…but this week I’m a cog in the system. Being a wedding photographer at Rhinefield House still, IMHO, requires a certain skill. There are lots of pitfalls if you don’t where to look…photographic pitfalls. But with all things these are there to be overcome, conquered and made wholly yours.
Belen and Damon came to me as a recommendation from Kerry and Steve back in 2007. It was great to see them at the wedding. They haven’t changed a bit even after adding a bonny boy to the mix. A big thanks to all of them…one of recommending me and other for taking up the recommendation.

And Now a Few From Darren
Bless Darren…he had mentioned he hadn’t felt great this week. I suspect the lure of a helicopter transfer aided in his Saturday morning recovery. At one point I lost him…just after the speeches. Not like Darren at all. But I carried on, getting my stuff set up for the Just One shot. He then appeared. He’d been worshiping to the porcelain gods, talking to ralph on the big white telephone…IOW, blowing chunks. But he picked himself up and finished the day with me. We did, however we did stop and leave a parcel somewhere in the New Forest. Sorry to the horses in advance.
