Spot the Dolly
Posted by: | CommentsFinally…after two weeks of runny noses, spiking temperatures, sleepless nights and petulance towards eating that rivals the head of the Cheerios (oooohh, low blow Glee reference) the Dolly (aka Holly) is now back to her usual tricks. Thank goodness. We never thought she’d be her wonderful self again. Now, go find the Dolly.

Man of God Revisited
Posted by: | CommentsI completed part 2 of my personal project a week or so ago. One more component in a few weeks before I release anything major. However, here is a photo from one of his pastoral visits.

Pink Shoe Diaries
Posted by: | CommentsI was captivated at how Holly’s little shoes sat on my walking boots. Only one thing you can do…take a ‘pitcher’. Regarding the Dolly’s shoes…well, at first she didn’t like them. Now, if you even think about putting your own on, she grabs hers, holds them out and grunts at you until you relent and put them on her. Yep…she’s a woman!

What’s In A Name?
Posted by: | CommentsUnfortunately quite a lot at the moment if you are my friend and fellow photographer David Calvert.
David has just discovered this in light of the recent stories run in the daily papers suggesting that Jon Venables was going by the name of David Calvert. Since then David’s photography site has had over 50,000 hits. Normally we’d be thrilled that his site is so popular, but at the moment he is obviously very concerned.
As his colleagues we are doing all we can to help David disassociate himself from this dreadful story. He is in no way related to David Calvert of Fleetwood, who has also been highlighted in the press and is in no way connected to the tragic case of Jamie Bulger.
David, 46, is a national award winning photographer and his business David Calvert Photography, based in Hertfordshire, specialises in family and child portraiture. David has our complete support in these difficult circumstances and we hope very much that they pass without impact to him, his own family or his business.
5ive Redux
Posted by: | CommentsCan you call it a tradition after only doing it for only two years? My tradition, my rules!

5ive
Posted by: | CommentsEvan…that dear little boy…turned 5 on Saturday. With a big party, a bouncy castle, loads of friends and some very tired parents, aunties, grandparents and sister, we managed to get through it. Many thanks to everyone who came along and for all the lovely gifts. I’ll be working on the kiddie-booth (sounds dodgy) photos this week ready for the thank yous.
