Portrait Photographer Petersfield – Alek and Alva

The phone rings this morning at 9:30.  “Hi Rob, it Phil.  Change of plan, we can make it today.  Can we come round at 1?”.  “Sure”…such is a life of a portrait photographer with foreign clients and weather forecast that could only make a pig happy.  So it was the return of Alek, this time with his little sister, Alva.  It was four years ago when they first came round I was pleased to see that Alek is a cheeky today as he was back then.  Full of smiles and laughter only now with the 6 going on 15 vocabulary.  I know, Evan is 4 going on 15.  So off we went to the woods near Hill Brow to see what the photo god would dish up for us.

Working with kids…especially small ones is a challenge on time.  Get them in a good mood and hope it lasts.  There is only so much you can do in a short space of time before the attention and being in the same place takes its toll.  But Alva was (is) a sweetie even if she did look at me on more than one occasion with “yeah…whatevah” in her eyes.  So she’s 1 going on 15.  Go figure!
