Tithe Barn Wedding Photographer – Roz and Joe
By RobGetting a sense of Deja Vu? I am.
I’m rushing to get this out. I’m on Daddy Duty tomorrow. Nicola is away with her sister and mum at something called a Spa? Never heard of it myself, but apparently its rather fun. Moving swiftly along.
Roz and Joe’s wedding at Tithe Barn (one of 7 or 8 this year) has convinced me that I owe it to my future Tithe Barn-ians to offer up some sound advice in how to make the barn look a) fantastic and b) wonderful for photographs.  I wouldn’t do it other venues but one of the USP’s of TB is that in a lot of ways its a blank canvas. Get out the wrong paint and you could be in trouble. I hasten to point out there is no real wrong way…just ways that work better for dragging the best images out of the barn. So if you are a client (and if you’re not, why, and no, its only available to my exclusive club…we even have a Nectar-esque type point scheme, so don’t ask) get in touch.
EDITED SINCE I PUBLISHED…PLEASE READ. You know when you wake up and you think about what you said and realise “holy cow, that could be taken the wrong way”! So I’m going to rephrase the first sentence to the last paragraph:
“Roz and Joe’s wedding at Tithe Barn (one of 7 or 8 this year) has convinced me that I owe it to my future Tithe Barn-ians to offer up some sound advice in how to make the barn look a) fantastic and b) wonderful for photographs. Mainly because after seeing what they did and relating this to all of my other experiences they got it SPOT ON!”
So what I saying was “great setup, let’s make sure everyone else knows”. End of grovelling (but for the record, no one mentioned it, I just didn’t like it when I re-read it.

Oh what fun it is to play with different white balances…Hey!

You’re two tents…no I’m a frayed knot…wait, that’s the punch line to two different jokes

Loo…light up my life
Ought-um
I like it…so there!

Some think he was saying ‘hi’. I think he was saying “only 5 minutes late?”
I’ve decided to stand in a slightly different place at TB…and I’m glad I did
Big Barn Farm — Where’s Petal?
Mildly pleased
Something a bit different…driving off from a civil ceremony where everything is in the same venue. Don’t worry, they came back 10 minutes later.
Here come the girls — just thought I show something a bit more normal (but nice)
Top table, left wall = Rob rubs his hands together
..and his black and white cat
If it wasn’t enough he made the gesture, he had to point to it as well
Available to Roz as a wallet sized image…just in case she ever wonders “keep or dump”
A new door

Some people take the whole Best Man’s speech timing game a little too seriously

Not quite the set of ‘Every Breath you Take’ but darn close

OK…I know I did it last week too…but I really liked it and I reckon I’m 2 for 2

The Magnificent, The Unkempt, The Boy Wonder….A few pictures from Darren!
Let’s face it…its why we’re all here
Great natural shot of Joe
Composition…I taught him everything I know :)
Darren is the master of guest images
First she sticks her tongue out…(wait for it)….
…then she goes all…well, I don’t really have any words to describe what she’s doing (far right, background, slightly out of focus)

Joe uses Something About Mary hair gel — if the rumours are true

This is a CRACKER!

What a fantastic day and what a fab set of photos! Roz is truly the happiest bride I have ever seen & these pix capture that perfectly! Love the one of the car!
I haven’t actually properly looked at your photos for ages Rob (a certain little madam keeps me far too busy!) but these are just fantastic – even just a quick flick through made me wish I was getting married all over again!
Great stuff Rob, what a stunning venue!!!
