Bury Court Barn Wedding Photography – Georgina and Jon
By RobIt was great to get back to Bury Court Barn. Since I was last there the leaves have started to turn and there’s a bit of a chill in the air. But this and the wet weather did little to dampen the spirits of the family and friends of Gee and Jon. I was happy to be back…and speaking of being back its all a little weird. A year ago I shot a wedding at Bury Court Barn. The church was in Rowledge and the prep was at Groomes. A year later I return for a wedding at Bury Court Barn, a ceremony at the same church in Rowledge and prep at Groomes. Georgina’s surname is Howard. I also shot a wedding of a Georgina and Howard at Bury Court Barn last December. These coincidences…can they be dismissed? Who knows.
Whilst we’re talking about suppliers…you must know that Groomes is one of the finest country houses around. Great location and wonderful people!

The forgotten character from Monsters Inc
Even with this graphical illustration, its unlikely that brides nationwide will ever really understand the offside rule
A belt? On a wedding dress? Well Mr…it was magic…a great idea (and her dress had pockets as well…clearly designed by a man!)

The devil is surely in HERE!
Lured in by the promise of free beer, the two at the front were still blissfully unaware as to the fate that awaited them in only a few short minutes
Pete (aka the car guy as well as the owner of Groomes — the location of the bridal prep) thinks he’s pulled…
Dude…where’s the beer?
Awww..bless…Jon’s son goes Bridesmaid Commando and sorts out Gee’s dress

Most people don’t know this, but they did meet at Wacky Faces master class at the National Circus Museum

I suppose if all the London buses are on the Hants/Surrey border its no wonder they only come along now and then

Yes, as a matter of fact, I WAS raised in a barn

Fair play to Gee…not many Bride’s would faithfully execute the request “could you please sit on the floor”

Not everyone appreciated the Rocky Mountain Oyster starter
I suddenly got the feeling that Mafia Wars wasn’t just a Facebook phenomenon
Executing faithfully the proverb wispered to me by the Dali Lama in which he said “he who sits in good light, gets ones photo taken” — exactly what he was doing in the queue at the Wild Bean Cafe at the Petersfield services is beyond me

No…really…me and the Lama are tight! Skeptics!

Croissant (faithful readers will realise I’m running out of euphamisms for toast — not that toast is offensive…unless of course its got Marmite on it!)
Fair do’s to this chap. When Joshua decided he couldn’t read the mini speech he wrote for his Dad and Gee, this fella stepped up to the plate. Unfortunately he too began to crack. Was it the sensitive words written by the 6 year old scribe or perhaps the sudden realisation you get when you realise you are speaking in front of 115 people and you are only 9 years old.. you make the call.
In the end, Gee read it along with a little help from Joshua

It all started rather peculiarly
