Hampshire Wedding Photos – Abi and Andy
ByLast October I shot a bridal prep at Groomes and was suitably impressed. Knowing I would get to not only do the prep but the reception as well certainly caught my attention. I am pleased to say it is a fantastic venue. Pete and Jane and the whole team are exceptional hosts and tailor make each wedding reception. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Abi and Andy .. some interesting statistics. Arranges wedding in 6 months time. Abi gets asked to help organise a summer ball (Andy is in the Army) which takes place only a month or so before the wedding. Then Andy pops the surprise…they’re off to Cyprus just 2 weeks AFTER the wedding, so they’ll have to pack and get ready to go. I certainly don’t envy them…
Nobody puts Baby in a corner! I too have carried…a watermelon!

Ohh Mexico (someone will get it)

They just grew…right out of the tub!
I like pictures that make you think
No snakes at this wedding
Andy does the respectable thing and starts at the pub — thankfully on about 150yds away from the Church
Walk the line

its the mirror…no, honestly
I’ve not made a habit of arguing with men with swords…nothings changed there then

I’m sure Granny is flirting with me
Lovely car…dodgy starter
Boogie Woogie Confetti Boy from Company B (some of you may need to brush up on your swing music catalogue)
Totally intentional

Hittin’ the hay

See the evil in his eyes…this is the answer to the ‘everbody shot’ at Groomes
Fairly accurate

“…because I know how to use a gun…that’s why!”

Some folks took the whole B&G quiz just a little too seriously
This composition was necessary for ‘technical’ reasons

Some guests stayed in the ‘tented village’ set up outside of Groomes. Some took the whole home from home bit to heart
Tin roof…RUSTED

Star light, star bright

beautiful use of light (as usual)Sure the B&G will love them.
My three and a half year old daughter just exclaimed “Flowers in the sink?! Flowers in the sink?! Spiders go in the sink! And spiders are children’s friends.” I pointed out that it was a bath tub; she said “I know … pedant!” (or maybe she just said “I know”). It’s a scalar relationship thing; Igglepiggle and all that. I think the rest are fantastic too, myself, but she keeps insisting on the sink. “Just do that one because I like that one Daddy”. Do I sense a new meme about to emerge, to parallel your shoe odyssey? If so, you’re sure to have a new fan in my daughter.
