Hampshire Wedding Photography – Helen and Alan, Tithe Barn, Ditcham
By RobNot entirely Tithe Barn…in fact it all started at St John’s in Langrish. A lovely church I’ve passed on the A272 too many times but had never actually stopped. I felt I was amongst friends. Helen and Alan live in Singapore and organising a wedding from 7000 miles away is never easy. I started to notice an interesting pattern after the first hour. Tiger Rose flowers…on my website. The Alexandria Quartet…on my website. Guy Stevens DJ…on my website. The Topiary Company…on my website. Jacaranda…on my website. Tithe Barn…on my website. Shootinghip…oh, wait, that’s me but I’m on my website too. It was one of the few times I was actually glad I had a links section. It was great to catch up with old friends…

Say hello to my friend James. James Choo. But you can call him Jimmy.

Not quite believing the weather, Helen’s Dad takes a visual

Rubbish! Damn you England!

You may have picked up that Helen wasn’t keen on bridal prep. I got only a handful (make that a fingerful) of shots of her at the house. This one…well, this has something that I like. Not entirely sure what it is that I like…its contextual, its got a lived in feel, photos of all the children as children on the wall and a final juxtoposition of Bride wandering through the room. Anyone seen my beret?

Sisters…bridesmaids

A hug from mum

This shot scares the blinkers off me. Everyone was casually crossing the A272…its like one of the busiest two lane A roads in the south. I couldn’t watch!

“How much for the women…I want to buy your women” – Jake Blues

Pins and needles

My prayers were answered…no one was leveled on the A272…and it would seem the prayers of those below were also answered…

“please don’t let us be late!”

Alan waits whilst James counts the ceiling beams

“Rubber biscuit” – Elwood Blues

Alan’s Dad (right) displays Olympic level confetti throwing talents. Rumour has it he’s ace at getting taxis as well.

The wheels on the bus go round and round (except when the bus driver parks and INSISTS that you take a photo on the bus)

Keiser Soze?

Seemed an odd time for a Mr Whippy

Special wedding edition: Brides-maid, Hon-ey-moon, Gift Reg-is-try, Real-ly nice pho-tog-ra-pher

Not our Alan…and nothing to do with the wedding. I wasn’t the only person slightly concerned about this though.

Sorry…I went all Martin Parr on you

Catch it, bin it…oh, sorry, she was just laughing

Tink

A bit better…B+

He quickly discovered why he never made the first 11 cricket team

Come in here dear boy have a cigar, you’re gonna go far…the band is just fantastic that is really what I think, oh by the way, which ones Pink? (a bit of music trivia for you)

Rumbled!
