Just One – Helen and Ben – Slebech, Pembrokeshire
Posted by: | CommentsDidn’t think I would get to do this one…still have to wait until Monday for the full blog. I narrowed it down to 4. Its sooo hard to do ‘Just One‘ but in the end I had to remember what the point is…to show something different, quirky or awe inspiring…today, quirky wins. So here is ‘Just One‘.

Thanks Fans!
Posted by: | CommentsThanks to all those who ‘fanned’ me on Facebook. The most amazing this is the number of people I have no idea who they are. Names which don’t compute but are all very welcome. Feel free to introduce yourself sometime.
As the post below explains, it will be a few weeks before I get hot on the postings again. But buckle up, its going to be an interesting ride.
Where U Been?
Posted by: | CommentsLoyal followers are probably wondering…where’s he been lately? Well, I’ve been catching up on loads of work from before our holiday, sorting out the tax information for the accountant, getting ready for the Christening next month and generally enjoying a short quiet spell in the summer. Owing to a small conspiracy (suffice to say it involved aliens, black oil and bucket of extra crispy) I’ve been off the last two weekends. So…when is the wedding train of bloggedness gonna restart? Good question. Although I have a wedding this weekend, its in Wales. We’re staying on for a few days to captialise on the last trip outside of school holidays with Evan. I come back to a double wedding weekend. So I’ll be posting three weddings on Mon/Tues the week commencing the 27th of July. But hold on to your hat folks because the following weekend, by yet another conspiracy (more aliens, more black oil and a bucket of the Colonels Original) I have 4 weddings — and thankfully no funeral. So doing the math I have 7 weddings in 15 days. I can feel the RSI buidling up now (no…that’s Repetitive Silhouette Syndrome).
As the slogan on the local police car says “to project and serve”, here’s a few of the kids to get you through the weeks….

I Get By With a Little Help From My Fans
Posted by: | CommentsThat’s not a conceited title…just one that is asking for anyone who hasn’t become a Fan of my Facebook page to please do so. I’m trying to reach the magical 100 fans to secure my name. I’ve not really promoted the page but this is my request…on bended knee…please be a fan. You might even find something you like there :)

Don’t Box Us In
Posted by: | CommentsI totally forgot to mention that I was featured on a unique website last week called Don’t Box Us In. It was great being the company of so many amazing photographers. Do pop on over, have a read of my interview and revel in my profile image taken by my very good friend Simon Kemp.
Holiday
Posted by: | CommentsBack from the edge AKA Majorca (or that Mallorca). Anyone planning on holiday’ing in the Euro-Zone beware its bloody expensive. I’ve never felt so ripped off than this year. High prices, crap service and questionable product. We visited one place that sold Magners for 5.90Euro. That’s not hotel prices…that’s just a run of the mill bar/pub in a Spanish resort. Laughable really…saying all that we did have a great time.
I’m sure some of my photographer friends are saying “what? Holiday…in June?”. I know…it seems odd that a full time mostly wedding photographer would book a holiday at the end of June. Last year I had to because the entire family went away for my Mother-in-Law’s 60th. I wouldn’t have chose to go in the first week of July. But when I came back I was really rather refreshed. I saw enough benefit to do it again this year and I’m glad I did.
As for holiday photos…I’m perhaps the WORST holiday snapper ever. I mean…I love what I took but you could be anywhere. So let’s just pretend the photos of the kids below were taken before holiday and no one will be any the wiser!

Our bedroom had some amazing light…sadly I didn’t have quite the right focal length lens…so cropping was a major part of the photo

Blowin’ bubbles…or rather, laughing after blowing bubbles

Holly is SO expressive these days. All you have to do is walk into the room and her little face lights up

chillin’ with Grandad

This is my boy…in fact, as I type this he at his 4th swimming lesson…he still a little timid around the water as proved above! (not)

Wiggle your woggle

yes…I know I cut off her hands and that his arm is gone…She’s got a bit of dribble and he still has a milk moustache. As mentioned I had the wrong focal length lens for this but you know what.
Sod your rules because his mother, grandmother, aunties etc won’t give a damn!
