For The Record: The images that I put on the blog from recent weddings may not always be the best or even ones you might expect. They are things that I saw, that I like that I want to share. Sometimes they are part of a quirky story or show a tender or ironic side to a wedding.

Rock-n-Roll Bride

Some of you may remember Nicola and Ben. They got married at Tithe Barn a few weeks ago. Good news on two fronts. Firstly, their wedding photography slideshow is now available (well, its be available for a while now, but I’ve been away).

The second bit of good news is that their wedding was featured on Rock ‘n Roll Bride. Rather than try to explain Rock ‘n Roll Bride its probably easier to paraphrase from the website:

Amen, Sister! The one thing you can always count on is that I will NEVER try to define your day. As a documentary wedding photographer its my belief that I should simply record the day as it happens. Of course everyone (well, Nicola and Ben didn’t) wants a few formals. But I reckon, with a sensible list we can get that done in less than 20 minutes. Couple shots are your decision. Have them or not. Either way, I’m cool. Most folks do but on occasions some clients have said no…and the world didn’t end. Go figure.
