Nicola and Ben — Wedding Photography at Tithe Barn, Ditcham
By RobOn Saturday I made it back to my old local haunt, Tithe Barn. Its only been a month or so since I was last there but the light between the end of February and the beginning of May means that the things change and the look you get differs. Best of all I got to work (once again) with some of my favourite suppliers: Dennys Catering, The Topiary Company and Oliver Sheen (pianist and vocalist). Ironically I met Oliver in 2005 at a wedding in Gloucestershire. However, it wasn’t until Saturday that we realised that we actually lived about 4 miles apart. Whilst we’re on the subject of suppliers, Nigel at the Topiary Company always manages to give the barn a special look. As for food…well, there are few better in the kitchen than Sean Denny and with his wife Sue running front of house you never want for anything. Enough plugs eh.
Nicola and Ben were fabutastic on Saturday. There were certainly a number of things that made the day unique…none less so than their honoured special guests, Dolly and Edie (I hope spelled the names right), their Pugs. So with that let’s see some images

Stripes and solids

This was my selected image from the ‘Just One’ range

Not your average under dress

Decisions, decisions, decisions

Can’t say I’ve seen a box of ‘Happy Walks’ dog treats in a Bride’s handbag before

When Darren and I learned that some contained Haribo there was a moment where we thought we could take the lot and leg it. In the end we thought better of the idea.

Ben and his magic suit

Tithe Barn .. in all its glory

When you gotta go, you gotta go

All couples should buy brollies…it seems to keep the rain away

I found a new spot…YAY!

I almost never not lay on the ground

Lego…nice!

Thankfully, he didn’t dribble

I love you, man!

As if this post wasn’t full enough with the things you don’t often see at Tithe Barn

Time to play….Guess The Apprentice Contestant

Great combo of tungsten WB, using flash and the video light from the Cine 8 man, Andy

Night falls
Darren, the boy wonder (can I keep calling him that? No, really?) came along on Saturday. Here’s a few of his:

Great connection D

Awww…awesome, silhouettes and faces in the same shot

As Father Jack would say “Drink!” (usually NOT with Pimms, though)

“Go on…take the shot and I’ll ‘ave you”

“Don’t let the polka dot harness fool ya…I can kick your a**”
