Bury Court Barn Wedding Photography – Rachel and Nick
By RobMy first dilemma was deciding if Bury Court was in Hampshire or Surrey. I never did arrive at a conclusion so answers on a post card please. Despite my lack of location prowess I was pleased to get back to, what I affectionately call, BCB. It is one of my favourite venues and as its within 8 miles of home its even more appealing. There’s something about travelling to a wedding where there are no motorways, no roadworks and variety of routes in case aliens set up an outpost on the A31 (unlikely but rumoured to be true…same goes for Wenger going to Real…who knows).
Anywho…Rachel and Nick. Beauty and the …. ummm …. Not That Happy to Be in Front of the Camera. Let’s further refer to them as Vogue and National Geographic. (I know, you’re waiting for an explanation…here goes). Vogue for Rachel because all you had to do was look at her with a camera and the camera melted with delight. During the B&G shots she could ‘strike a pose’ before I could say anything to her. Nick on the other hand. He was more of a kind of documentary type of guy. Gotta grab what you can when you can. Nothing wrong with that. We’re one in the same. Since ‘Vogue’ was well…Vogue…it was made clear that the photos are super important. Sadly for them … (bet you wonder where I’m going with that leading statement…in fact, in rather poor literature I’m actually switching points) … they were supposed to be going to Mexico tomorrow. Sunny Cancun, now known as Cancough. So a fiddle the schedule means its not until next month and since photos were so important (back on track) I’ve posted a few more of the ‘couple’ stuff just them (her).
BTW…if anyone else is looking for a wedding photographer for Bury Court Barn…do get in touch. I’m nearby, have lots of experience and with only average literary skills you might find me an entertaining chap to have ’round.

Trivial Wedding Pursuit : Rachel only had her ears pierced for the wedding…True or False?

On discovering that during a spate of toilet humour..(yes, they are just on the right)..that her trusted photographer was happily snapping

Early Doors (one too many and who is Jim?)

“Nah mate…I don’t get the Early Doors thing either”

A National Geographic moment

…this too, if you’re keeping score

Man and Vogue

Small world…turns out the chap doing the reading is my neighbours son.

Went here…was doing something completely different….the shoes popped out to say hello

To achieve this ‘pensive’ look I simply asked him to name the 1994 FA Cup runners-up….

…and with ‘Vogue’ I simply looked up and went “ooohhhhh…don’t move”

Two birds with one ring…or something like that

This IS my Just One

No blood…strange…someone call Dexter!

A second spell of B&G stuff finds me going ‘off piste’ for something a little different at BCB

I’d never seen confetti from the rafters at Bury Court Barn before…great idea

I included this because I wasn’t expecting it and it made me chuckle

Its great having D ‘over my shoulder’…he never takes the same thing I do (I mean that BTW)

See what I mean…this is in my set but I’m shooting from the right…it works!
